Cleaning up our roads.

 

PA CLEANWAYS

This year Pocono Township has partnered with PA Cleanways Adoption Program to help address the persistent littering on our township roads.
PA Cleanways provides signage for groups who participate, and Pocono Township will erect the signs and assist with the disposal of trash collected. 

 
The first volunteer group, Barton Glen Preservation Committee, had 7 volunteers sign up to take part in this project. The group collected 8 bags of trash, 4 shelves and 1 tire on Barton Glen Road.
