Central Pocono Ambulance Association, Inc.
During the past several months, additional crews have been added during peak hours to better provide residents and visitors to our area the best service possible. As always, our MICU (Mobile Intensive Care Unit) ambulances are staffed with state certified paramedics and emergency medical technicians who provide the highest level of pre-hospital emergency care possible on a 24/7 basis. We have also experienced steady growth in our wheelchair van transport services, outpatient hospital procedures, dialysis, etc.
Many newer residents to our area are unaware that emergency medical services agencies in Monroe County bill for services. Our Business Office, which is located on Route 611 in Tannersville, adjacent to the Pocono Township Volunteer Fire Company, is open from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday – Friday. Our staff is available to assist you with any billing, insurance, or subscription questions.
Please call them at (570) 629-2620.
Revenue obtained from third-party insurance billing, along with subscriptions, fundraisers, and donations helps support an annual budget in excess of $1,000,000.00
Our subscription plan is an extremely important resource available to residents. Brochures containing details of how the plan works are mailed to area residents each year in May, and subscriptions run from July through June. If you haven’t received your 2008 subscription brochure by June, please call or stop by.
On behalf of all of us at Central Pocono Ambulance Association, Inc, we wish you a safe, healthy, and happy summer.
